Crossing over the Pre Andes

Leaving Mendoza city towards the South, we shall then drive on route Nº7 to Uspallata, winding up along the Mendoza River.
The majestic, arid, and snowy mountains to the west, contrast with the fertile Uspallata valley. A dirt track to the East will take us back into the first Andean Mountain Range, known as the Pre Mountain Range.
After the first ascent we will then jump on the bikes. The path turns into an old dirt trail and slopes cross over several small hills. Surprisingly changing scenery lies behind each one. Crossing the Pre Mountain Range is a colourful experience. Along the way, it is very likely to see wild life such as guanacos and condors.
Lunch will be held in a spring-water fed landscape, surrounded by poplar trees.
The last downhill section starts right after the visit to "Casa de Piedra", a goat breeding house, a place far from everywhere, in its own time.
The biking distance will be dependant on the individual's physical condition.
