Picheuta Creek

Fishing on this river is exiting because some people have caught huge brown trouts. The reason for this size is because the creek ends in the Mendoza River, so with a percentage of luck we can have the opportunity of catching a real trophy.

Best time to go: from September to December and from February to May.

Recommended equipment: 3 weight rod and floating line, 7 feet leader and 4 X tippet.

Flies: Stoneflies, Montana, bitch creek, May flies, hare's ear, prince, zug bug, black gnat, irresistible, Adams parachute, elk hair caddis, stimulator, hoppers.

Type of trout: rainbows and brown

Average size: 1,2 pounds.

Physical condition

Sedentary to Good (Sedentary: person with lack of training or walks gently one or two times a week. Good: person who trains systematically not more than three times a week).
